Professional Experience : 30 years of service in Nepal Rastra Bank at different capacities. Prior to retirement he was the executive director of the Research Department. He was also the executive director of the Foreign Exchange management of the bank for about 3 years. Besides that he also worked as Chief Manager of the Nepal Rastra Bank’s offices outside the Kathmandu valley. He has also worked at the SEACEN Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as a Senior Economist from April 1997 to March 2000.
He has published books on Fiscal Consolidation in the SEACEN Countries: Policy Analysis and Assessment, and the Economic Interdependence among the Asian Countries. Besides that he has published several articles on Foreign Exchange, Foreign Trade, Government Finance, Monetary Policies, Price etc.
